I enjoyed meeting him in person on my first visit to Atlanta.

Congrats on your "Stuart's Finest Hour." When you get the thumbs up from Drew Wagenhoffer, you know you're on the right track.

-- David Woodburydwhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01748726942956990159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2378699042434857883.post-60024430606747545872013-11-04T08:47:31.433-08:002013-11-04T08:47:31.433-08:00Great synopsis of CW Round Table ops in California...Great synopsis of CW Round Table ops in California but the thing I like the most was how the serious study of history creates friendships that last a lifetime. I look back on my membership in the 1980s with the Atlanta Civil War Roundtable and the friendships and the mentoring that I received from stellar member historians like Bill Scaife, Phil Secrist, Ollie Keller, and Tom Watson Brown, all of whom are sadly gone now. Thanks for posting this and the trip that it took me on memory lane.John Foxhttp://www.johnfoxbooks.comnoreply@blogger.com
